Car: 2002 Turbo
Years Produced: 1973-1974 (see note on production
years)
Production Volume: 1,672
The 2002 Turbo was the ultimate development
of the 2002. It was built during 1973 and 1974 (though remember that in
America this would imply the 1974 and 1975 model years--all non-prototype
Turbos that I've seen/heard of have square tail lights), and a total of
1,672 cars were produced. The Turbo extended the development of the 2002tii
by adding a KKK turbo charger that increased the horsepower to 170. Suspension,
brakes, bodywork and interior were all modified as well.
Brendan Lopez has given me some scanned
images of the 2002 turbo (as well as the pictures on this page)

Bill Boyd
has provided several scanned articles from the Roundel on the 2002 Turbo
(he has received permission from Yale Rachlin to publish these on the Internet).
Any typographical errors are likely related to the scanning and proofing
done by Bill and me, not the Roundel.
